General Information
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation at the International Conference on Forensic Psychiatry. Abstracts may be based on:
- Empirical or theoretical research
- Case reports or case series
- Clinical, legal, ethical, or institutional experiences
- Service models and system-level practices
Both research-based and clinically oriented submissions are welcome. All abstracts must be written in English and follow basic APA style principles (academic tone, clarity, sentence case for headings, consistent terminology).

Flexible APA-style Format
Option A – Research-based abstracts
- Title – Sentence case, concise and informative.
- Authors – First name, initial(s), last name; affiliation(s), city, country; corresponding author’s email.
- Abstract body (250–300 words):
- Background
- Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
- Keywords (3–5): separated by commas.
Option B – Case-based or Clinical abstracts
- Title – Sentence case, concise and descriptive.
- Authors – First name, initial(s), last name; affiliation(s), city, country; corresponding author’s email.
- Abstract body (200–300 words):
- Background
- Case description / Clinical context
- Forensic relevance
- Assessment and management
- Conclusion
- Keywords (3–5): separated by commas.
Presentation Type
- Oral presentation
- Poster presentation

Submission Rules
- Abstracts must be submitted by September 1, 2026.
- Abstracts may be research-based, theoretical, or case/experience-based.
- Authors must use one of the two approved structures (research or case/clinical).
- Submissions must be original and not previously presented at another major conference.
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee for relevance, clarity, and scientific or educational value.
- Authors will be notified of acceptance and presentation type by email.
